How to add cheats to PPSSPP Android
Follow these steps to use cheats in your PPSSPP games
1. Enable Cheats Option on your PPSSPP emulator
To use cheats on PPSSPP you first need to enable the cheats option in the emulator
- First of all Open the PPSSPP app on your Android phone
- Open the Settings option in PPSSPP
- Tap the System tab
- Scroll down and find the cheats option then enable it
2. Move the Cheat.db file to the Cheats folder
After enabling cheats in PPSSPP you need to move the cheat.db file into your PSP folder
Find the location where you saved the downloaded cheat.db file then select it and tap the Move option
Now go to Internal Device > PSP > Cheats and move the file there
Note: If you cannot find the Cheats folder inside your PSP folder then create a new folder with the name Cheats and move the cheat.db file into it
3. Open any game and enable cheats in PPSSPP
Now start the game where you want to use cheats and open the PPSSPP menu while the game is running
- Open the game in PPSSPP
- Press the back button while the game is running
- Tap the Cheats option
- If no cheats appear select Import from cheat.db
- The available cheats for that game will appear
- Enable only the cheats you want to use
Cheats are now added to PPSSPP games
