How To Use Codebreaker Cheats On PCSX2 (PS2 Emulator) In 2024

Welcome Gamers Today I'am Sharing With You a simple guide on how you can use Codebreaker cheats on PCSX2 many players want cheat codes to make old PS2 games more fun but do not know the right way to set it up so stay with me and I will show you every step with screen shots so you can add cheats on any PS2 game easily.

What Is Codebreaker

Codebreaker is a cheat device that help you to use cheat codes on PS2 games. It's developed by Pelican Accessories and also works on PS1 Dreamcast Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS it is still one of the few cheat tools that works well today.

How To Use Codebreaker On PCSX2 Tutorial – Step By Step

Step 1 – Download and extract the Codebreaker.rar file using WinRAR to get the Codebreaker ISO file.

Step 2 – Open the extracted folder and copy the Codebreaker ISO file location address.

Step 3 – Open PCSX2 Emulator.

Step 4 – Go to ISO Selector and click on Browse.

Step 5 – Paste the Codebreaker ISO file location on the address bar and press Enter.

Step 6 – Select the Codebreaker ISO file and click on Open.

Step 7 – Go to System and click on Boot ISO Fast.

Codebreaker Controls

1. Press X (Cross) to turn all cheats on or off.
2. Press △ (Triangle) to delete a game.
3. Press O (Circle) to add a new game.
4. Press ◻ (Square) to edit the game name.
5. Press Right on the D-pad to select cheats.
6. Press Start to go back to the main menu.

Note: In this guide I am using Codebreaker cheats on WWE Smackdown Here Comes Pain you can follow the same steps on any PS2 game.

Step 8 – Go to the Gun icon and press X to open the Cheats section.

Step 9 – Select Any One Game Which You Want to Cheat.

Step 10 – Select Cheat Which You Want to Use In Game.

Step 11 – Press START button on your gamepad then press X to save changes or press △ if you do not want to save.

Step 12 – Go to Start Game and press X now the game will load inside Codebreaker.

Step 13 – Double-click on PCSX2 screen to make PCSX2 screen small then click on CDVD option..

Step 14 – Go to ISO Selector then browse and select the PS2 ISO game file.

Step 15 – Click on Swap Disc option.

Step 16 – Double-click on the PCSX2 screen again to make it full screen.

Step 17 – Press X to start the game.

Step 18 – Enjoy your Codebreaker cheats are now working on PCSX2.
